Well it was a cold one, and yet again we had a power issue! Which was thankfully quickly resolved after a team-effort relocate, and we were additionally thankful for the extra shelter! We sold out of all pork by 1.30pm on day one and 1.15pm on day two!!! Next time, we will bring more – I promise!
A huge thank you to all of our customers, some had seen us online and were so pleased to finally catchup with us! Our ‘Signature Barbecue’ sauce went down a storm and we continued to sell it by the tub after all food had gone! My goodness it is amazing, if I do say so myself! No-one could quite believe it was homemade!
Here’s a big shout out to Lewis (in photo) who worked like an absolute trooper. He travelled home from Uni just to help out for the weekend, as he knew The Frilly Pig was short-handed, and was chief taste-tester extraordinaire! Also, to Erin, who worked until early hours of Saturday at her ‘real job’ to then join us all day Saturday until she had to go back to work until the early hours again! You are a STAR!!!!
