A Culinary Gem in Cleveleys: The Frilly Pig Bistro is a Must-Visit! If you haven’t been to The Frilly Pig Bistro in Cleveleys yet, stop what you are doing and book a table immediately! This isn’t just a meal; it’s a masterclass in home-cooked excellence that leaves you feeling like you’ve been invited into a friend’s kitchen—if that friend happened to be a world-class chef. The Heart of the Bistro From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warmth that is rare to find. The owner is the absolute soul of the place. She is incredibly hands-on, buzzing around with an infectious enthusiasm that lights up the room. It was such a delight to chat with her; her passion for food and genuine care for every customer’s experience makes the atmosphere feel truly special. A Symphony of Flavours The food? Simply sensational. We started with the Garlic Bread, but forget everything you think you know about this dish. This was a revelation! Topped with salty bacon, crunchy candied walnuts, and a drizzle of sweet honey, it was a decadent, genius combination that I’ll be dreaming about for weeks. For the mains, we were blown away: The Lamb: Perfectly cooked and served with Middle Eastern couscous. Every bite was an explosion of flavour thanks to the fresh pops of pomegranate and the creamy tang of feta cheese. Spectacular! The Pork Belly: This was the definition of “melt-in-your-mouth.” It was incredibly succulent and juicy, paired with red cabbage that was easily the best I’ve ever tasted—rich with the warming notes of cinnamon and red wine. The Grand Finale I finished with the Eton Mess, and it was a “riot of flavours on the palette.” It achieved that impossible balance of sweet and sour, textured perfectly to provide a refreshing yet indulgent end to the night. The Verdict: The Frilly Pig Bistro is home-cooked food at its absolute zenith. Between the incredible service and the vibrant, thoughtful dishes, it is a local treasure that deserves every bit of praise it gets. Go there. Support them. Eat everything. You won’t regret it!

This lovely place is a must-visit. I highly recommend it to anyone. The owner, Sandra, is amazing! You’ll feel right at home. The food is all homemade, even the sauces are made from scratch.

Absolutely lovely beef Sunday lunch, fresh vegetables and perfect Yorkshire puddings. Lovely atmosphere, very chilled, brilliant service. Would recommend a visit soon. 😀

Walking past Sunday lunchtime we decided to stop and have Sunday lunch. We got a lovely welcome and was soon seated and order taken. Sunday lunch was absolutely delicious- roast potatoes best I have ever tasted! everything else was perfection. We both had deserts and again they were delicious. We will definitely be visiting again to try the evening menu. The owner was lovely and made us feel very welcome and the two young girls who waited on very polite and friendly. If you have never tried the Frilly Pig Bistro give it a go you will not be disappointed. Thank you and we will see you soon. 😊

Sunday lunch, absolutely fantastic, I’m not normally a lover of comercial Sunday lunches but this was excellent, four fresh veggies,carrots, tenderstem , French beans and cabbage. Mash and crisp roasties lovely yorkie and choice of pork, beef or turkey. Veggie option also. Topped off with real meat gravy. For £20.00 real value for money. Also pigs in blankets and cauli cheese as additional sides. Two and three courses available also. Will be back. The owner deserves all the praise you can muster and all the success you can get. One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time
